Family Photos: coming soon!
My friend Cristi Nelson took some Family Photos for us a few weeks ago. I took these off her blog and we are expecting our copy of them (and many more) to come in the mail next week.
Things didn't start off well. Don't let these pictures fool you... we almost rescheduled! Coleman was NOT cooperating. but thanks to Cristi and her amazing patience (and one very special montser truck she carried in her purse), he came around and we were able to get some really great photos.
This was about the fifth "pep-talk" we gave Coleman before he came around:

This Month is Such a Special One...
It's Birthday Time for HIM!
Coleman turned 3 years old today. For his birthday the only thing he requested was "Balloons... and more balloons... and more balloons... and STICKERS!"

I thought I was on top of things and bought 30 balloons... only to find that Coleman's Grandma took the Balloons to a whole new level.
My little balloon was more than a little "JV" compared to Grandma's "Varsity"

A Very GROOVY Halloween
This year we decided to attend our Ward's Trunk-or-Treat Festivities. When we decided that we were going to participate... WE WENT ALL OUT!
Josh starting our fine automobile:
Our friend, Joe, let us borrow his VW van for the night. Driving in it was certainly an adventure!
There wasn't a contest for best decorated car/theme, but I'm pretty sure we would have taken home 1st Place if there had been :)
It eventually started pouring, so we moved in the party inside:

Rome Wasn't Built in a Day!
We have been bitten by the "Re-Design Bug" lately. There are still a lot of improvements we want to make but we love how things are going so far:
We got a GREAT deal on this sectional. Thank you, KSL
The Sectional has a Hide-a-Bed and a Recliner! I'm not going to be tacky and say how much we paid for it... but $100 is a heck of a deal! ; )
We moved the piano between the door and window, it fits perfectly.
Our Blue Wall: We had one in our old apartment and really liked it. Our goal is to save up and get a flat screen mounted where the picture is (above the fireplace)
We are also going to get some bins and shelves for ALL those toys.

I'm Going There Someday...
3 years ago, Josh and I were sealed in the Provo Temple. I've tried for years to find a pretty picture of this temple... it's been difficult. I finally found one and edited it with picnik.com LOVE IT.
