Halloween 2011

I LOVE my Manny. This year he was Handy Manny for Halloween.

Before heading out Trick-Or-Treating we made a Jack-O-Lantern Pizza. This might be a new Halloween Tradition for us.

Apparently I was taking too long to cut Coleman a piece of Zucchini bread...
He just helped himself.

Rise and Shout

Its about that time of year again...
COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON

...and we started this season like we have all the rest.
Tail-Gating!

It was *THESE GUYS* first time,
Welcome to the family, Megan and David.
NOW it's official :)

We played games:
and tossed the football:
and celebrated magnificent throws:
and surprised even ourselves with our mad skills:
Oh, Tyler...

we practice our long-snaps (and apparently BYU could have used us):

But mainly we enjoyed visiting:
The Tyler Keil Family

The Pierce's

We played games:
Poor Megan, CatchPhrase was NOT her game.

and snuck into other family photo ops ;)

Poor Coleman. He thought he was GOING to the football game with his daddy. He was crushed when I told him it was time to go home and that we would NOT be going to the stadium.
I felt so bad that we ended up having our own date, just me and Manny.

First Day of School

Preschool

Coleman is going to Wonderland Academy.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2 hours each

All summer we've been telling Coleman, "You're going to start Preschool in the fall."
This morning he woke up and asked, "Mom, is 'it' falling yet?"
Took me a minute but I finally realized what he was asking and told him, "Yes! It's finally fall. You are going to preschool today."

He was so excited.
Coleman got to wear his new Buzz Lightyear shoes. We bought them months ago when they were on clearance, knowing they were way to big for his tiny feet. They're still a little big, but he wore them anyway. PS- they light up. He thinks they are the coolest.

Mini Backpack- important for bringing his ONE paper home from school :)

Coming out after school. He loved it.

Showing me his school-work

School can be really taxing. Coleman fell asleep for a nice long nap.
When he woke up he told me, "Mom, I dreamed I was back at school! When can I go again?"

YAY for Pre-K!

Its exhausting being 3!

Today was a big day for Coleman.

It started when my visiting teachers came by around 11:30am and brought 2 little girls with them. They played for about 45 minutes.

Then Josh and I had a meeting we had to go to for Proctor Parents, so Coleman was dropped off with some cousins to play...

Then those same cousins came to our house for a few hours while their parents had to work...

THEN we went to our friends house. Josh is working on their sprinkler system, so Manny and I thought we would walk over for a minute and say a quick, "Hello." Our quick, "Hello" turned into about another hour of playing with friends.

Needless to say, I wasn't very surprised to see that Coleman fell asleep a little early tonight.

I was however surprised to walk downstairs and see him like this:100% asleep

Poor kiddo, it's exhausting being 3!
