Family Photos: coming soon!

My friend Cristi Nelson took some Family Photos for us a few weeks ago. I took these off her blog and we are expecting our copy of them (and many more) to come in the mail next week.
Things didn't start off well. Don't let these pictures fool you... we almost rescheduled! Coleman was NOT cooperating. but thanks to Cristi and her amazing patience (and one very special montser truck she carried in her purse), he came around and we were able to get some really great photos.

This was about the fifth "pep-talk" we gave Coleman before he came around:

We went for a little walk:

Things got a little better:

And then things were great:

More photos to come next week!

This little guy dodged a bullet was NOT named Deuce as his daddy had requested!
Coleman Davis Keil
Born: November 12, 2007

Coleman= his maternal grandmother's maiden name
Davis= his paternal grandmother's maiden name
Dear Coleman- You'd better LOVE your grandmas! If it weren't for them, you could very well be named Deuce :)

This Month is Such a Special One...

It's Birthday Time for HIM!Coleman turned 3 years old today. For his birthday the only thing he requested was "Balloons... and more balloons... and more balloons... and STICKERS!"
He knows he is now 3, but he struggles with holding up the correct number of fingers :)
We're still working on it!
THE birthday cake. Thanks Grandma Blue Eyes for the cake pan (it's a big hit, no pun intended)
Opening up his new HOT WHEELS, super pumped:
He may be 3, but he still has the chubby cheeks of a 1 year old :)

Out-Done by Grandma... yet again

For his birthday Coleman requested BALLOONS.
I thought I was on top of things and bought 30 balloons... only to find that Coleman's Grandma took the Balloons to a whole new level.
My little balloon was more than a little "JV" compared to Grandma's "Varsity"
Way to Go, Grandma! You're a hit!
