I got a call from our Relief Society yesterday. I need to take dinner to a family in our ward on Friday. It is for a new mom who comes home from the hospital that day. I can't think of what to make, any ideas? We didn't get meals from our Relief Society when I had Coleman, my mother-in-law brought us dinner. Any ideas, please?
PS- It is for the dad, mom and 2-year-old big brother.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...
Last night we took the family to support our local Single A Baseball team, The Orem Owlz.
We sat in general admission, on the grassy hill.
We went with our good friends, The Lassen's:They had a great park/playground for the kids to play on. Coleman spent a lot of times on the slides while Rachel chased Hannah
.
We had to leave early because of bad weather, but I think we will definitely be making more trips to the ball park. Go Owlz!

I married my best friend. Last week we celebrated 4 years of wedded bliss. It was a night of Tony's Pizza and our favorite Pepsi Products... who says we aren't a romantic couple?!?

Happy 4 years, lover!

Life's a Beach!
Today we headed to the beach. Birch Bay State Park is only 8 miles from my parents house. So we loaded all the kids in Grandpa's "Bus"...
... And we headed to the ocean. The kids had a great time on the
bus with Grandma.
Coleman liked the rocks.

Coleman didn't like water.
Things got pretty scary there for a minute:

But then he found his Grandpa:
Thank Goodness for Grandpas!

Soon we arrived at the water and after a VERY long walk (the tide was out) we played our favorite game (appropriately titled "Throw Rocks in the Water")
Coleman and his Cousin Tatum with Grandpa

Leaving on a Jet Plane
We had the opprotunity to fly home to Washington. It was quite an experience! Coleman wasn't looking foward to it. (look at that face! Pure terror!)
It was crazy! I apparently have extreme-motion-sickness now, so I held my 1-year-old in one hand and my barf bag in the other :)
After a few minutes Coleman passed out, the turbulance settled and we were able to enjoy our flight from Moab right into Bellingham

We made it safe and sound. Now all I have to do is pray for strength to get through our return flight next Wednesday!

It's always fun when Grandpa comes!
When Grandpa comes Hooray! Coleman's Grandma and Grandpa James flew into Moab to pick us up for a vacation. The kids were VERY excited when they finally landed.
Grandpa and Grandma, coming in for a landing:
They're HERE!

Guess our Destination:
Coleman and his momma are taking a vacation next week. We are so excited! We are going HERE:
(Yes, this is a picture of "Down Town"... probably during rush-hour)
Can you guess where we are headed? Here are some hints:
1. Population: 8,758
2. Elevation: 36 feet
3. Home of the Mighty Golden Eagles

Just Say, "No!"
Nancy Reagan had it all wrong! Coleman's new favorite Word/Phrase/Reaction is "No!" It's awful! Sometimes he shouts it, sometimes he whines it, sometimes he says it as he walks away.
"Coleman, lets change your bum." -No!
"Coleman, lets go outside." -No!
"Coleman, can you pick up your blocks, please?" -No!
"Coleman, would you like to eat a cookie?" -No!
EVERYTHING IS "NO!"
I really hope this phase passes quickly.

The BEST night of my life!
Warning: this post is lame on so many levels!
Last night I stayed up late (way past 10:30) to watch the MTV movie awards... I warned you it was lame. They were premiering the first clips of "NEW MOON" or for those of you who live under a rock, the second book in the twilight series. I was so excited I literally sat up straight and starting clapping when "Edward" "Bella" and "Jacob" went on stage to introduce the movie! I couldn't help myself! It was SO GOOD! For those who didn't see it (aka the normal grown-ups) they showed the birthday party scene where Jasper almost kills Bella, the scene where Edward leaves, and the field scene where Bella runs into Lawrent and he tries to kill her. BUT THE BEST PART WAS: Bella running away from Lawrent and yelling, "Jake, RUN!" Then it cut to Jacob hopping over the front porch, running, and phasing into a werewolf. IT WAS AMAZING! I told Josh (when I woke him up) that November better get here fast because I don't know if I can wait that long to see the rest of it.

Now I am off to google "NEW MOON" and see what else I can find... See, I told you, LAME!
