Early this morning (around 9:30) I headed up Provo Canyon to Timpanogos Park to run my first 5k. And to be honest... it was miserable! :) It had snowed the night before and so not only was it FREEZING but the path was almost completely covered in snow! It was so bad that at a certain point in the race they stopped us and had us WALK single-file down the trail because the path was too dangerous. But...

I braved the cold weather...
I showed up, I didn't stop running, I didn't throw up or pass out and I didn't come in last!
Overall, I'd call that a victory!

Volley-Ballers

After having SO much fun playing Ward Ball, some friends of mine decided it was be a blast to join the Orem City Rec League. Our team is the Volley-Ballers.

Born to Ride

We've had some BEAUTIFUL weather lately and decided it was time to pull the scooter out of winter hibernation. Our friend Steve was gracious enough to let us borrow his air compressor and inflate the tires. When they were finished Josh asked, "Wanna go for a ride, Steve?" Nothin' more manly than 2 dudes riding a scooter! :)

Coleman's Big Boy Bike

We decided that Coleman has been riding around on his little tricycle for long enough. After a quick trip to the store, we found ourselves in the driveway with: a new bike, a new helmet, and a VERY nervous 3 year old.
Eventually he got the hang of it but for a while he insisted that someone be right beside him.
